Most Railcards are easy to buy online, and you can use Railcards on MyTrainTicket to save even more money on your train tickets. There are many different types available, so find out if there’s one for you and start saving money now. A Railcard costs £30 or less for a year, and you can find full details of the different types available at the Railcard website. There are often some great discounts and offers available for each Railcard type, so do check the site to find out more!

Railcards typically give you 34% off most fares (First Class fares are not always included) and the Family & Friends Railcard gives you 60% off child fares (already half price), as well as 34% off adult fares.

16-25 Railcard

Perfect for anyone aged 16 to 25 and costs just £30 for a whole year or buy a 3 year 16-25 Railcard for just £70 (a saving of £20 over 3 1-year Railcards)! Family & Friends Railcard

Ideal when you’re travelling with kids! Up to 4 adults and 4 children can travel on one Railcard. The Family & Friends Railcard costs just £30 for a year or £70 for a 3-year Railcard. Find out more at familyandfriends-railcard.co.uk

Senior Railcard

Reduced cost train travel for the over 60s. Senior Railcards are available for 1 or 3 years and can be used on short or long train trips – ideal for booing a day, or visiting family and friends. Senior Railcards cost £30 for 1 year or £70 for 3 years. Find out more at senior-railcard.co.uk

Two Together Railcard

The new Two Together Railcard gives two named adults 1/3 off rail fares when they travel together by train. You can get 1/3 off Standard and First Class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares on train services throughout Great Britain, when you travel after 0930 Monday to Friday, and any time at weekends and on Public Holidays. The Two Together Railcard costs just £30 – that’s £15 each – and you can use it as many times as you like throughout the year. To find out more and buy online visit twotogether-railcard.co.uk. Disabled Persons Railcard

Network Railcard

Save money on train trips in and around London and the South East. Get 1/3 off most standard adult rail fares in the Network Railcard area, for yourself and up to three other adults, and save 60% on child fares for up to four children (aged 5-15)
