Buy PLUSBUS tickets

PLUSBUS Saves you Money on Buses and Trams

From just £2.50, you can add a PLUSBUS ticket to the start or end of your rail journey which allows unlimited travel on buses and tram services (available at over 400 UK stations).

All you need to do is select the PLUSBUS option when you’re buying your cheap train tickets from MyTrainTicket. The PLUSBUS option will show you where your PLUSBUS ticket is valid, and on which bus operators (in most cases, virtually all).

PLUSBUS tickets from stations in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Nottingham and Sheffield are valid on trams as well as buses.

Child and Railcard discounts also apply to PLUSBUS tickets, making them even better value.

Please note that some PLUSBUS tickets can only be purchased if your origin station is outside a certain area (e.g. Sheffield PLUSBUS tickets cannot be bought if you started your journey within South Yorkshire).

You can only buy PLUSBUS at the same time as buying your train tickets – you can’t buy one from the bus driver on the day!

PLUSBUS tickets are printed on the same stock as train tickets, so if you have chosen to collect your tickets free from a self-service ticket machine, make sure all the tickets have been dispensed before you leave the machine.
