Advance Tickets
Advance tickets are great value Single (one-way) tickets. To take advantage of these great value tickets you must book in advance. Advance tickets have limited availability.
The earlier you book the greater the value for money!
Remember you can book Return journeys by mixing and matching two Single Advance tickets.
Advance tickets are only valid for the date and train they are booked for. These tickets are non-refundable but can be amended before departure.

Anytime Tickets
Anytime tickets are flexible tickets with no restrictions on the time you can travel. With Anytime Single tickets you can travel on any train on the date booked for travel. You can also break your journey at stations along your route.
For even more flexibility why not purchase an Anytime return ticket. Outward journeys must be made within 5 days of the date shown on your ticket and return journeys within one calendar month.

Off-Peak Tickets
If you are travelling on trains that are less busy why not go for the cheapest fares by selecting an Off-Peak ticket?
Off-Peak tickets may require you to travel at specific times of the day, days of the week or on a specific route. The travel restrictions will depend on the journey you are making but you will be advised of any restrictions at the point of purchase.
Off-Peak tickets can be purchased any time before travelling. Off-Peak Single tickets must be used on the date shown on your ticket. For Off-Peak Return tickets outward journeys must be made on the date shown on your ticket and return journeys within one calendar month.

Tickets We Don't Retail
Please note MyTrainTicket.co.uk does not retail the following tickets:
- Railcards
- Season Tickets
- Sleepers
- Ferries (except for Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Esplanade)
- Tickets in exchange for warrants
- Railway staff tickets
- Cycle or car parking reservations

Refunds & Amendments
Refunds
Anytime and Off-Peak tickets may be eligible for a refund. Advance tickets are non-refundable.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for Self-Print and Mobile Tickets.
