Today, there is a lot of competition between Train Operating Companies to offer the best onboard facilities for commuters and leisure travellers alike, from at-seat catering to quiet coaches and premium First Class benefits.

Many have introduced WiFi and power sockets are available on lots of services, allowing you to catch up on work, browse the internet or simply charge up your devices while you travel. Some even provide in-coach entertainment, so you can watch TV on your journey (or use it to keep the kids quiet...).
