Business travel by train

Travelling by train for business is both economical and environmentally friendly. Many train operators provide onboard facilities such as WiFi, power sockets, more tables and quiet coaches, making rail the preferred method of travel for thousands of business people every day.

Unlike flights, which are often booked well in advance, train tickets are commonly purchased on the day of travel - which is the most expensive way to buy them! If you're able to buy train tickets before the day of travel, particularly on longer journeys, you can save your business a great deal of money. Save up to 80% by booking Advance tickets (rather than buying tickets at the station on the day of travel) - these can be booked up to 12 weeks ahead, but can also be available right up until 6pm the day before travel! Choose the free 'collect your tickets from the train station' delivery method, take your collection reference and the card you booked with to the self-service ticket machine at the station, and you'll avoid the queues at the ticket office too!
